Power generation
Fuel gas conditioning and balance-of-plant systems for aero-derivative, industrial and frame gas turbine plants, from single distributed units to multi-unit utility and campus power.

Plant types
| Plant | Fuel system emphasis | Typical J2B scope |
|---|---|---|
| Simple cycle and peaking | Fast-start units where fuel pressure and temperature must hold through rapid starts and load changes | Fuel gas conditioning, gas heating, instrument air |
| Combined cycle | Frame units at high gas flow with performance heating and redundant conditioning runs | Fuel gas conditioning, demineralized water, cooling water and glycol, lube oil |
| Distributed generation and cogeneration | Industrial and aero-derivative units on variable supply gas | Fuel gas conditioning, water treatment, utility packages |
| Mobile and bridge power | Trailer and modular turbine fleets deployed ahead of grid connection | Repeatable fuel gas packages built as fleets |
Engineered around the turbine
Each fuel gas system is engineered around the turbine OEM's governing fuel gas requirements and operating envelope. The package protects the turbine fuel system while holding the required gas condition: filtration, liquid removal, pressure, temperature, dew point margin and required superheat.
GE Vernova's O&M reference, GER-3620P, links liquid carryover to hot gas path overtemperature and combustion hardware damage, and describes superheating fuel gas about 50°F above its hydrocarbon dew point.
