Scope
This policy covers j2bindustrial.com (the “Site”), operated by J2B Industrial. It explains what information the Site collects, how J2B Industrial uses it and the choices available to anyone who uses the Site.
Information sent to J2B Industrial
The quote request forms ask for a name, company and work email, and the contact page also asks for an optional phone number. Both forms accept optional project details, such as the systems of interest, program size, industry, role, turbine or equipment model, first delivery date and scope.
Information sent to J2B Industrial by email or phone, including design basis documents and job applications sent by email, is handled under this policy in the same way.
How quote requests are processed
A quote request travels over an encrypted HTTPS connection to the Site’s own server, which stores it in the secure online platform that J2B Industrial’s website provider uses to manage the Site and its enquiries. Each request is stored with the page it was sent from, the date and time and the type of browser used, so that J2B Industrial can read and answer it.
The same applies when a browser has JavaScript switched off. Form details are never placed in a web address.
Information collected automatically
Like nearly every website, the servers that deliver the Site keep standard technical logs of each request, such as IP address, browser type, the page requested and the date and time. The hosting provider keeps these logs to deliver the Site and protect it from abuse.
Each page also loads its current wording from the website platform, so that approved text updates appear without rebuilding the Site. That request carries the same kind of standard technical information and no cookies. J2B Industrial does not use any of this information to identify visitors.
Cookies, analytics and advertising
The Site does not set cookies, does not use Google Analytics or any other analytics service, and does not load advertising or retargeting pixels. If that changes, this policy will be updated.
How J2B Industrial uses information
J2B Industrial uses the information it receives to answer questions, prepare quotes and proposals, review specifications and design basis documents, plan and deliver the work requested, consider job applications and keep records of the business relationship.
Sharing
J2B Industrial does not sell or rent personal information. It shares information only with service providers that help run the Site and the business, such as the website hosting provider, the website platform that stores quote requests and the email provider, and only as needed for that work. Information may also be disclosed when the law requires it, or to protect the rights and safety of J2B Industrial, its customers or others.
How long information is kept
Quote requests and correspondence are kept for as long as they are needed to respond, to deliver and support the work and to maintain business records, and are then deleted or archived.
Security
The Site is served only over an encrypted HTTPS connection, and reasonable safeguards protect the information sent through it. No method of transmitting or storing information is perfectly secure, however.
Choices and requests
Anyone can ask J2B Industrial to show the information it holds about them, to correct or delete it, or to stop contacting them, by emailing sales@j2bindustrial.com or calling (904) 574-8919. Residents of states with consumer privacy laws may have additional rights under those laws, and J2B Industrial will respond to requests as those laws require.
Children
The Site is intended for business customers and is not directed to children under the age of 16. J2B Industrial does not knowingly collect personal information from children, and deletes any it learns it has received.
Links to other websites
Some pages link to outside sources, such as industry news and manufacturer publications. Those websites have their own privacy practices, and this policy does not cover them.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it last changed.
Governing law
This policy is governed by the laws of the State of Florida.
